Wet Cleaning
Wet cleaning is the latest technology used in replacement of Dry clean. In Dry cleaning petroleum solvent is used instead of water. In the early days of dry cleaning, this solvent used to be petrol. Than Perchloroethylene (PERC) was introduced and accepted widely. But the harmful contents and effects from chronic (long term) inhalation exposure are neurological, including impaired cognitive and motor neurobehavioral performance and may also cause adverse effects in the kidney, liver, immune system and hematologic system. On the above the various Govts banned the uses of Perc.
Now wet cleaning is the latest invention in the field of clothes cleaning. Wet cleaning refers to methods of professional cleaning that, in contrast to traditional Dry-cleaning avoids the use of chemical solvents, the most common of which is Tetrachloroethylene (commonly called perchloroethylene or "perc"). Environmental groups and the United States Environmental protection Authority (EPA) have indicated that such alternative "wet cleaning" methods are better for the environment than perc. We use specialized washing machines to control water levels, agitation, and temperature, ensuring proper cleaning without damaging the fabric.
